Business terms
Version d001-controlled-v1 · Effective 8 October 2026
These are testing-stage terms.
They apply to businesses taking part in the pre-launch Hompt test in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, India and Nigeria. They are not final terms for any country. They will be reviewed by lawyers for each country and replaced or confirmed before Hompt opens to the public.
Who these terms are for
These terms apply when you use Hompt for a business: to receive jobs, send offers and carry out the bookings customers accept. You may be invited or register yourself, for example on WhatsApp. Hompt is run by Plaiss Ltd (company number 17109369).
What you agree to
- You have been admitted and you sign in to use Hompt.
- The identity, business, service, contact and assurance information you give, including documents Hompt asks for, is accurate.
- You have the authority to provide the services you offer and to make the commitments you approve.
- You keep your availability, offers and other important details up to date.
- Where Hompt asks you to approve something, such as sending an offer, you do that explicitly.
- You follow Hompt’s privacy notice and the way it keeps and deletes information.
Being approved to take part
Accepting these terms lets you register and act for a business on Hompt. It does not by itself approve your business to receive work. Whether a business can take part is decided only through Hompt’s business checks, which may include reviewing your documents.
How offers and bookings work
- Before a customer accepts, you see the service, the time window, the customer’s description of the job and their general area, not their address or contact details.
- A booking is made only when the customer accepts your offer. You then see the address where the service takes place, and phone numbers if either side chooses to share them.
- During the test, offers and bookings are test transactions. No real payments are taken and payout set-up is a simulation.
What Hompt cannot promise
Hompt is a controlled, pre-launch service. Taking part does not guarantee any amount of work or number of bookings.
